TalkToAds (“we”, “us”) is operated by Indianappguy Tech Pvt Ltd, India. TalkToAds is a remote MCP server that lets you manage your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising by chatting in AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor. This policy explains what data we access, why, where it is kept and how you remove it. Questions: hey@talktoads.com.

1. What we access from Meta

When you click “Continue with Facebook” you choose which ad accounts to share. With your permission we request:

• public_profile, email: your Facebook user ID, name and email, to create your TalkToAds account and contact you about it.
• ads_read, ads_management: to read campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, audiences and performance insights, and to create, edit, pause or resume them when you ask us to in a chat.
• business_management: to list the ad accounts and Business Manager assets you have chosen to share.
• pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, instagram_basic: to list the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts linked to your ad accounts, so you can use an existing post or reel as an ad.

We only act on your ad accounts when you ask in a chat. Everything we create is created with status PAUSED and only goes live after you explicitly approve it.

2. What we store

• Account record: Facebook user ID, name, email, plan, and an optional spend cap you set.
• Access token: your Meta access token is stored encrypted (AES-GCM) inside your TalkToAds session grant. It is never stored in plain text, never logged and never shown to the AI app.
• Usage count: how many tasks you used each month, for billing.
• Brand memory: notes you ask us to remember (brand voice, target CPA, margins, promo dates).
• Change log: each change we made to your ad account (what, when, which object), so you can review it.

We do not store your ad performance data, audiences or creatives. They are fetched live from Meta when you ask and passed to your AI app in that conversation.

3. How we use it

Only to provide TalkToAds to you: answering your questions about your ads, making the changes you request, keeping your change log and brand memory, billing, and support. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use Meta platform data to train AI models.

4. AI apps

The results of the tools you call are returned to the AI app you are chatting in (for example Claude or ChatGPT). That app processes the conversation under its own privacy policy. We only send data to the app you connected, in response to your request.

5. Where data is kept and who processes it

TalkToAds runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and KV) and data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which receives your billing details directly; we never see full card numbers. We do not share your data with anyone else except when required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete everything at any time; see Data deletion. When you remove TalkToAds from Facebook or ask us to delete your account, we delete your token, account record, brand memory, usage and change log within 30 days (usually immediately), except billing records we must keep by law.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent by removing TalkToAds in Facebook Settings → Business Integrations. Email hey@talktoads.com for any request; we answer within 30 days.

8. Children

TalkToAds is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, email you.
